3-ingredient Tasty and Healthy Honeyed Banana Smoothie in 3 minutes


 Do you ever get an urge to consume only liquid even though you're hungry? Or maybe a sudden craving for something cool and tasty like ice-cream? Or are you ever just bored with your regular food and would like to cook up something different but have to consider a number of factors like the food being healthy, filling and not taking a lot of your time because its just one of those days where you do not want your lazy ass to be away from the couch for long?

I can honestly confess to have fallen a victim to one of the aforementioned urges once in a while and I can't be the only one. Every time I'm struck with those, the one word that pops up in my brain is "Smoothie".

Smoothies are the perfect solution to wanting to have something cool, refreshing, filling, healthy and tasty, all at the same time. And the best part is that you don't have to be a chef to blend a masterpiece nor do you require to invest a lot of time or even money. My go-to smoothie is "Banana- Smoothie". I love it for its simplicity and nutrition. Hence, I thought this recipe worth sharing to lazy-ass but foodie people like me. All you'll need is a blender and the following 3 ingredients:

1. Ripe banana (1x) - cut into half.
2. Rolled oats (1/4th cup)
3. Milk (3/4th cup)
4. Honey (1 tablespoon) - optional but recommended as it adds a little sweetness to the smoothie.
Honeyed Banana Smoothie

Process:
 There's just one step here. Put it all in and blend it all together for a minute. The outcome is a smooth and tasty smoothie. I call it the Honeyed Banana Smoothie. The entire process won't take you more than 3 minutes. You can put in ice-cubes if you like your smoothies cool or consume it the way it is.
